The OWA is an independent agency of the Ministry of Labour, Immigration, Training and Skills Development. The OWA is not part of the Workplace Safety and Insurance Board (WSIB), the Workplace Safety and Insurance Appeals Tribunal (WSIAT), or the Ontario Labour Relations Board (OLRB).

How we can help you:

We provide free and confidential education, advice, and representation to assist non-unionized:

• injured workers, their survivors,  or estates, with workplace safety and insurance matters; and 
• workers who have been punished or threatened for exercising their workplace health and safety rights.

About this portal:

This portal is for new and existing clients who have been invited to securely communicate with the OWA to:

• review your file’s status with our office
• send us documents; and
• securely message your Worker Adviser or Worker Representative
